Overview of Temple Terrace

Temple Terrace was named for what was, at the time, a new hybrid orange named the Temple orange. The Temple orange is a cross between the mandarin orange and the common sweet orange.

Today, homes for sale in Temple Terrace Florida are popular due to relatively low prices and a convenient location. About two-thirds of the properties are single-family homes, and the other third are mostly condos and some townhomes.

The typical Temple Terrace home for sale is a 3 bedroom 2 bath layout with about 1,800 sq ft of heated living area. But there are lots of choices in size and price ranging up to 5 bedroom 4 bath plans with over 4,000 sq ft of living area. About 1 in 5 homes has a private pool. The typical Terrace Temple condo is a 2 bedroom 2 bath plan with a little over 1,000 sq ft of living space. But again, there are lots of choices for layouts, size, and price.
