Overview of Pinellas Point

Pinellas Point covers the last southern mile of the Pinellas County peninsula from 54th Ave South to the shores of Tampa Bay. Besides great views of Tampa Bay and the Skyway Bridge, Greater Pinellas Point St Petersburg Florida is probably best known for its “pink streets”. These muted pink streets add charm and character to the popular “pink street” homes for sale in this southern section of Pinellas County.

A “typical” home in this area is a 3 bedroom 2 bath layout with about 1,600 sq ft of living space. Sizes range from 2 bedroom 2 bath ranch style home to 4 bedrooms 3 bath homes with about 2,500 sq ft of space. There are not many large homes over 3,000 sq ft in this part of St Petersburg. Most of these homes were built from the 1950s to the 1970s. The real estate in this section of town is mostly single-family homes. About a third of the homes sold have private pools.
