Coquina Key is populated by a mixture of single-family homes and condos. The single-family homes make up a little less than half of the properties. Homes range in size from two-bedroom two-bath layouts with about 1,000 to 1,500 square feet of living area to 4 bedroom homes with about 3,000 square feet. A typical Coquina Key home is a three-bedroom two-bath layout with about 1,500 ft.² of living space. About one-quarter of the homes are waterfront properties. Most of the homes were built in the 1950s and 1060s.

Enjoy a day out at Coquina Key Park with lots of green spaces to enjoy with family and friends. The park also offers athletic fields and courts, a playground, cooking grills and shelters for rent. Downtown St. Petersburg is only about 4 miles north and a minute ride traffic permitting. Downtown is the mecca of culture and dining in the Pinellas County area. Enjoy easy access to a wide variety of museums, theater groups, and great local dining areas located downtown.
St. Pete Beach is just 8 miles west of Coquina Key. It has consistently been rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Just south of St. Pete Beach is Pass-A-Grille Beach. It is a big favorite with locals and a really special place. It is very laid-back with a lot less tourism Clearwater Beach or St. Pete Beach.
