The 21 floor luxury Meridian condos were built in 2000 making them some of the more modern condos in the Clearwater Beach area. Living at Sand Key Condos

Sand Key offers both beachfront condos as well as waterfront condos on the Intracoastal Waterway and Clearwater Harbor. The beachfront condos are on the western side of Gulf Blvd along the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico. The eastern side fronts Clearwater Harbor and the Intracoastal Waterway. The even numbered addresses are generally beach condos and the odd numbered addresses are generally on the Intracoastal or Cleareater Harbor.

The overall average price for a condo in Sand Key in 2016 was $566,000 and mostly ranged from the $300,000's to over $2 million dollars. The typical condo sale was a 2 bedroom 2 bath configuration with about 1,400 sq ft of living area.

The condos are located on the Sand Key barrier island just south of Clearwater Beach and just north of Belleair Beach. The beach condos are on the western side facing the Gulf of Mexico, and the east side is home to waterfront condos with great views of Clearwater Harbor and the Intracoastal Waterway.


About the Sand Key Area

Location and Things to Do

Sand Key is located just below Clearwater Beach and runs south between the Gulf of Mexico and Clearwater Harbor for about 3 miles. It is a short drive to the mainland via Belleair Causeway. Tampa International Airport is about 25 miles away and there are several good alternate routes.

The Shoppes on Sand Key is on the northern side of the island. It is home to several great restaurants like the Columbia House and Backwaters. There are an assortment of specialty shops and tempting snack vendor for ice cream or doughnuts. 

If you want a quiet "old Florida" beach day, pack your beach stuff and head for Pass-A-Grill Beach on St Pete Beach about 20 miles south of Sand Key. It's a beautiful beach with lots of old time charm and some fun eating/drinking spots overlooking the beach like the Brass Monkey.


Sand Key Parks & Recreation

Sand Key Park is located on the northern end of the island just south of Clearwater Pass and Clearwater Beach at 1060 Gulf Blvd, Clearwater FL 33767. It has a beach area on the Gulf of Mexico, and a fully equipped park. The beach section is on a beautiful stretch of white sand where you can stroll the shoreline, put down your towel, or rent a beach chair. The park area has grills, picnic tables, and water fountains. There is also a dog park, and fishing piers along Clearwater Pass. There is a daily charge for parking.

What's Nearby?

Clearwater Beach and Pier 60 are just 3 miles north of Sand Key via Gulf Blvd. It's a fun outing to go to a great restaurant like Frenchy's Rockaway Grill, the Clear Sky Cafe or the Brown Boxer. Belleair is just across the bridge and offers lots of shopping options. John's Pass is a fun place to spend the day or evening having a meal or walking around and visiting the many specialty shops.
