There are six condo buildings that make up the Tides complex with a community center as the hub. The community was build in 1998 to 2000 making them relatively new for area beachfront condominium communities. The community has a security gate at the entrance to control unwanted traffic but offers a simple to use pass for residents. The complex is well maintained and has a wonderful "resort like" feel. There are three heated beachfront pools so you are never far from the beach or a pool. The community center has a fitness center, conference center, entertainment area, television room, arcade center and billiard room. The heated swimming pool offers lots of seating and a grilling area.

Popular Johns Pass is just 3 miles south in Madeira Beach. Stroll along the boardwalk and visit the many shops, or stop and have a drink or lunch or dinner at one of the wonderful waterfront restaurants. We really enjoy sitting at the docks at the Hut Restaurant and Bar and watching the boats go by and seeing the dolphins as they swim by.
The Tides is about 12 miles south of award winning Clearwater Beach. Visit the beach or check out Pier 60. Walk out on the pier or visit one of the great restaurants or bars in the area.
Fort Desoto is a popular County park at southern end of the beaches about 20 miles away. You can picnic, fish, walk the trails or enjoy the beach.
There is plenty to do at the Tides. The beach is right outside your door, so take a stroll along the shoreline, take a swim, fish, or just enjoy the sunsets. There are three beachfront pools and a community center with lots of amenities. You can walk or drive to several wonderful local nearby restaurants, or take a short trip and enjoy all that popular nearby Clearwater Beach has to offer.
Dress in our area is casual. You'll usually feel right at home in shorts and a casual shirt and sandals, tennis or boat shoes. The climate is great so a light jacket is all you are likely to need even in the "winter".
The Tides has a wonderful luxury resort feel and virtually all of the units offer amazing beachfront views. The community is relatively new for our area, and has modern layouts and roomy two and three bedroom condos for sale. You can walk to some great restaurants or take a short dive and visit even more restaurants and entertainment spots. Best of all, a stroll along the beach or watching the sun set over the Gulf is right outside your door!
