More Information About Terrace Park Of Five Towns

View From CondoTerrace Park of Five Towns started off as a development of 557 acres bought by Herman Geller in 1970. The 55+ community has grown and developed over the years. The original plan was for a 3 par golf course along with commercial and residential condominiums. The community grew over 10 years from 1977 to 1987 and has become one of the most popular active 55+ condominium communities in all of Pinellas County.

Five Towns now consists of 144.8 acres which are home to 34 condominium buildings. The condos and villas range from 610 to 1,800 sq. feet. This includes 1 and 2 bedroom units. Most of the newer buildings have screen porches. The whole community is a nature lover's paradise with ponds, large lawns, and shade trees.

Large Heated PoolThe community is very active with 2 clubhouses, 6 pools (2 heated), 2 tennis courts, and 10 shuffleboard courts. This active community has a variety of clubs to join from card playing, shuffleboard tournaments, bowling, social club, billiards, and fitness workouts for all levels. There is also an RV storage and car washing area. There is even a community bus that goes on routine trips to shopping areas! The Magnolia clubhouse is where the largest pool is located and is also the home of the neighborhood library. Meeting rooms are also available for reservation.

Nature Area at Five TownsThe winding paths are perfect for walking and bike riding. There is a 400-acre nature preserve at the northern end of the property owned by the county which is home to bald eagles nesting for 30 years. If you want even more places to walk or bike ride, beautiful Lake Seminole Park is just 2 miles north on Park Blvd. Also, the wonderful Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail is just a mile and a half south off of Park Street adjacent to Target.
